Rose Quartz dice FAQ
Is rose quartz too soft for dice?
No. Rose quartz is a quartz at about 7 on the Mohs scale — the same hardness family as amethyst. It is well suited to dice; we simply recommend a soft tray as with any gemstone set.
Does rose quartz colour fade?
Prolonged, direct sunlight can lighten rose quartz over a long time, so we suggest storing sets out of strong UV. Normal indoor play and display are no problem.
